Hi, I was just wondering: Is the Paralympics more prestigious to be a part of than the Special Olympics?

Special Olympics are for people with intellectual disabilities, while Paralympics are for people with physical, mental and sensorial disabilities.

Though the mental disabled has been pushed out of the Paralympics, due to an incident in Athens where a few athletes faked to by mentally handicapped.

Scott and his mother states that there simply arn’t any real competitive challenge in the Special Olympics.

Se their claims here on TV Today from sunday: http://www.thepulse2007.org/?page_id=28
